When I first arrived to Meghan and Ryan's venue I was blown away by the view! As I was exploring the grounds to see where I'd like to take portraits and family formals, I walked around the corner of the building and my jaw dropped. I stood behind the rows of white chairs leading up to a fabric-draped arch with the most gorgeous backdrop of hills, trees and a beautiful blue sky! I felt like I was in the mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee and it was the perfect backdrop for a wedding ceremony.
As I walked into the bridal suite, I was met with the smiling face of the bride-to-be. When I asked her how she was feeling she confessed that she was a bit nervous, which is understandable. I reassured her that it was all going to be perfect and to relax and enjoy!
I grabbed all her pretty details to photograph on the back patio of the suite so I could admire the beautiful view and get the best light at the same time. Her mother pulled us to the side to show us the sweetest gift ever that she had gotten Meghan to keep her lost loved ones close to her. The gift was a photo of them hanging from her bouquet, so I made sure to incorporate those in her detail images.
Before we knew it, it was time for the first look! These two wrote vows to one another and decided they wanted to read them for each other before they turned. It turned out perfect! Reading their notes from one another had their emotions running so high that they couldn't wait to turn around and see one another!
The rest of the day went beautifully without a drop of rain and a colorful sunset to end the evening.
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Zink; I wish you two a life full of happiness!
