Wildflower Engagement Session | Cheyenne & Landon | Kayla Bertke photography & design

Cheyenne and Landon are just the sweetest! I had such a good time getting to know these two as we met and conversed while capturing their engagement session. They found me through my dear friend and are getting married at her venue, Dusty Acres, as well.

When I arrived at Cox Arboretum, Cheyenne informed me of this wildflower field that’s off to the side of the park. I had no idea it was even there and as soon as we ventured onto the trail I immediatly knew I wanted to photograph them in the flowers. They were true champs and didn't hesitate in the slightest when I asked them to.

I also learned that Cheyenne's engagement ring is made from a diamond Landon’s mother passed down to her sons from a pair of her earrings; how neat is that!? I love when the jewelry has a story behind it.

Cheyenne and Landon: I'm so excited we finally were able to meet! Thank you so much for trusting me to capture these memories for you. I am so excited to capture your wedding next spring!
