Infectious smiles are the first thing that come to mind when I think about these two and their engagement session. Right off the bat, they radiated happiness and their love for one another shined brightly. At different points I even had to remind Kandra to relax; she just couldn't contain her excitement! Kandra found me through a mutual friend of ours and I'm so glad she did! I loved working with these two because they made my job so easy!
I love finding out how couples meet and of course how he popped the question! Kandra and Ryan met online, but not how you would think. These two met through a mutual interest in a sport called tricking, which is a mixture of marshal arts and gymnastics. I mean, how cool is that! They were both members of a tricking Facebook page and that's how they met. A few years later, Ryan found out what and where Kandra's dream ring was and he snuck around and purchased that very ring! He proposed at Benham's Grove in Centerville; Kandra just smiled as Ryan told me about how he teased her right up until the proposal, joking that it would be at least a few more years until he could afford her dream ring. Kandra was pleasantly surprised with such a beautiful ring, I loved how unique it was with the twisted band; simple and beautiful!
We had their session at the beautiful Wegerzyn gardens, where the flowers were in full bloom! I used these to my advantage, especially during those ring shots. I just can't pass up the opportunity to photograph flowers!! Scroll down to see my favorites from Kandra and Ryan's engagement session!
Thank you so much Kandra and Ryan for allowing me to capture your love. I can't wait to be a part of your big day next July, it's going to be beautiful!
