It’s not everyday that your only sister gets engaged, right?! I’ve been lucky enough to capture all of the important moments for Abby and Scott and this engagement session was one of my favorites.
These two lovebirds have been dating for about 6 years.. since they were juniors in high school! It was about time that Scott finally popped the question! After asking my mother, brother and I for permission to marry Abby, he decided to make it special and ask at their favorite place, the lake. Our family has vacationed to the same lake in Michigan each and every summer for our whole lives, so this was a very special place for Scott to propose. After some behind-the-scenes planning, things came together seamlessly and Abby was completely surprised by his proposal!
For our first engagement session, we found some beautiful willow trees and couldn’t wait to capture their beauty! We finished up our evening at the lovely Wegerzyn Gardens of Dayton and I’m so happy with how they turned out!
With these two being family, they’re obligated to have more sessions with me so don’t worry, this is not the end of seeing these two on the blog 😉
