April 28th, 2018. My first wedding. I still can’t believe it! I will always remember this day and appreciate that these two entrusted me to capture their big day! To be frank, I was so nervous leading up to the occasion, but as soon as I walked into the bridal suite and saw all those beautiful girls getting ready, I was instantly calm, confident and ready to snap some beautiful pictures for Hayley and Nick.
Details are my favorite and Hayley chose such a pretty color palette for her bouquet that I couldn’t wait to get it in front of my camera! Spring was in full swing that day and the blossoms did NOT disappoint. I knew her beautiful lace gown would look just perfect on this Magnolia tree and boy, was I right! And seriously, how gorgeous is that dress!?
When it was finally time for Hayley to step into that gorgeous dress, her mom buttoned her up and Hayley’s sweet sister walked out, instantly in tears, as she saw her big sister in her wedding gown for the first time.
During the ceremony, their adorable son walked down the aisle and Nick had the biggest smile on his face. Caison was letting Nick know that his beautiful mother was right behind him. As Hayley came around the corner, she and Nick exchanged the most precious of looks. What a sweet moment it was.
From there on out, this huge group was so carefree and joyous to work with! They made it so much fun and really went all out during their individual portraits with the bride and groom.
Oh, and the speeches! They had everyone in the whole room rolling with laughter! Nick’s brothers were both sentimental yet threw some pretty hilarious digs that only brothers could give to each other. Hayley’s sister told her story of how she’s grown to love Nick as a new big brother (with lots of comedic points along the way, too). Each one was purely enjoyable.
Hayley and Nick, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your big day. It was perfect in every way. I hope you enjoyed your time in front of my camera as much as I did behind it! Enjoy this sneak peek at some of my favorites!
